Your first view of the red and white Potala Palace soaring above the holy city preserve the flavor of traditional Tibetan life. It is here in the Jokhang, an otherworldly mix of flickering butter lamps, wafting incense and prostrating pilgrims, and the encircling Barkhor pilgrim circuit that most visitors first fall in love with Tibet.   1. Day 01: Fly from Kathmandu / Chengdu / Beijing to Lhasa

    Upon your arrival at Gongar airport half an hour drive will take you to Lhasa city, the capital of Tibet. Afternoon relaxing and acclimatizing. Overnight at hotel

  2. Day 02: Lhasa city Sightseeing

    After breakfast at hotel, your journey to Tibet would not be complete without exploring the great Potala Palace. This palace is Lhasa’s prime attraction and is a truly wonder of Tibetan architecture. Your first site of this enormous structure will be a glorious moment remembered for years to come. This palace was once home to the Dalai Lama. And visit to Norbu Lingkha Jewel Park and summer resident of the Dalai Lama. In the afternoon you will have easy visits to Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Market. Overnight stay at hotel.

  3. Day 03: Lhasa city Sightseeing 

    This really amazing day visit to the Drepung – once the world’s largest monastery, housing more than 5000 monks which situated hidden in rocky ridges just several miles beyond the city. Afternoon, you will visit Sera Monastery which located just a few miles North of Lhasa city and is home to several hundred monks. Overnight stay at hotel.

  4. Day 04: Optional day for excursion

    Optional day excursion to Namtso Lake or Basum Tso Lake. Overnight at hotel

  5. Day 05: Fly to Kathmandu / Chengdu / Beijing

    After breakfast at hotel, your guide and driver will drop you to Airport for your next destination.
