Overview
Upper Mustang Overland Tour is specially design for elderly traveler those who don’t want to Trek due to age. Upper Mustang the isolated region of Nepal is known as the forbidden kingdom of Lo. Lo Manthang is Buddhist terms; it means southern plateau of Arya. This tiny kingdom was once an independent Buddhist kingdom in Himalaya, later Prithivi Narayan Shaha’s Gorkhali force annexed to Nepal. After that Upper Mustang was isolated from another world until 1992.
Itinerary
Day 01: Drive to Bandipur - Hotel
Day 02: Drive to Tatopani (2600m) - Lodge
Day 03: Drive to Kagbeni (2900m) - Lodge
Day 04: Drive to Tsarang (3570m) via Geling and Samar - Lodge
Day 05: Drive to Lo Mangthang (3840) and explore - Lodge
Day 06: Explore Koro La and Chhoser valley - Lodge
Day 07: Drive to Chhusang via Ghara, Luri Gompa and Tashi Kabum- Lodge
Day 08: Drive to Marpha via Muktinath - Lodge
Day 09: Drive to Pokhara - Hotel
Day 10: Drive to Kathmandu
